Melford hys Companie is a group of amateur re-enactors who portray a company of travelling entertainers, typical of the late medieval and Tudor period in England.

We have performed at numerous historic properties, festivals and fairs and are now in our fifteenth year.

We spend the day entertaining the public (and ourselves) with music, cooking, dancing, crafts, and sports. In addition to this we perform authentic plays, with a cast of characters ranging from Saint George to a group of chickens!

Our main aim is to have fun and pass this on to the visiting public along with accurate historical insight. Participation is positively encouraged.
